A battery van, not a battery shop

Discovery Gardens Battery replaces car batteries where the car already is — a building car park in Discovery Gardens, the roadside off Sheikh Zayed Road, a tower basement in JLT at two in the morning. We have been doing only that for 7 years.

What we do

One job: get a car with a flat battery started and keep it started. A van carries the common sizes across every major make, a proper load tester, and the tools to reach a battery that the manufacturer hid under a boot floor or a passenger seat.

We do not run a workshop and we do not sell tyres, oil changes or service packages. Everything on this site is car battery replacement, jump starting and the testing that tells you which of the two you need.

How a callout works

You call or send your location on WhatsApp. We ask where the car is, and its make, model and year — that is the whole conversation.
The nearest van takes the job. Average arrival in Discovery Gardens is about 20–30 minutes; nearby communities and peak traffic on Sheikh Zayed Road can push it longer, and we tell you the real number before we set off.
We load-test the battery AND the alternator before selling anything. If the battery is fine and the fault is elsewhere, we say so.
If it does need replacing, you get the price before the spanner comes out, and it is the price you were quoted on the phone.
The new battery is fitted, the terminals are cleaned, charging voltage is checked with the engine running, and the old battery leaves with us.

What we will not do

We will not sell a battery to a car that does not need one. A load test takes two minutes and it is free whether or not you buy anything; a customer told honestly that their alternator is the problem is worth more than one sold a battery that will be flat again on Thursday.

We do not charge a call-out fee, a night rate or a weekend rate. The price at 2am on a Friday is the price on a Tuesday afternoon.

The batteries

Every brand on the van, from OEM-grade German and Japanese units down to value ones, with warranties up to 24 months. Every one of them is listed with its origin, its cell type and its warranty on our battery-brands pages — there is no house brand we are quietly pushing.

Warranty is registered in your name at the time of fitting, not on a paper slip that gets lost. Every old battery leaves in the van and goes to a licensed recycler; lead-acid is hazardous waste and it does not belong in a skip.

Discovery Gardens and the communities around it, 24/7, every day: The Gardens and Ibn Battuta, Al Furjan, Jumeirah Islands, Jumeirah Park, JLT, Dubai Marina, JBR, The Greens, Jumeirah Golf Estates, Dubai Production City, Jebel Ali Industrial and Dubai Investments Park. The vans are based in Discovery Gardens, so the nearest one takes the job rather than the one that happens to be free.
